VA Tech WABAG a lleading Indian MNC in water sector has won a waste water treatment plant order (WWTP) in Nepal for value of Rs141 crore
The order will be funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB)also includes Operation and Maintenance of the WWTP for a period of10 year.



The scope of order Includes Rehabilitation and Expansion of waste water treatment plant at Guheshwori in Nepal. WABAG will carryout rehabiliation and expansion of the WWTP while the existing plant will be kep operational.



The plant which was constructed in 2002 to treat average flow of 16.2 MLD, Post rehabilitation and expansion, will double the capacity to 32.4 MLD. the sailent feature of the plant would include generation of power from bio-gas produced out of sludge.UNI JS AW1454
