Suzlon Group has secured a 50.40 MW wind power project from a business house.

The project contains 24 units of S95 90 mtr tubular tower with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW in Anantapur district, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The company will provide comprehensive operation and maintenance for 20 years and involves dedicated life cycle asset management services to the project.

The wind power project has the potential of supplying power to more than 27,000 households and of reducing 0.10 million tonne of CO2 emissions per annum.

This is the fourth consecutive order from the business house. The project is scheduled for completion in March 2017.
