
Shriram EPC Bags Rs 61-Crore Order From Karnataka Water Authority
End-to-end engineering solutions company Shriram EPC Ltd. announced that it was awarded a contract of over Rs 61 crore from the Karnataka Water Supply and Drainage Board.
The order involves providing water supply scheme to the Robertsonpet township under the Atal Mission For Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The project is expected to be executed over a period of 36 months.
Robertsonpet is a planned township situated in the city of Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka, India. It is among the five hundred cities in the country that were taken up under AMRUT by the Ministry of Urban Development, which will recieve development of basic services such as water supple, sewerage, solid waste management and storm drains.
“The municipal services business which is shaping up well will be further bolstered by this recent order win,” T Shivaraman, managing director and chief executive officer of Shriram EPC said in the press release.
Shriram EPC had previously implemented water infrastructure projects for other municipal bodies including Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Delhi Jal Board, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board, and Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board.
