Sadbhav Infra Emerged As Lowest Bidder For A Road Project In Karnataka

Sadbhav Infrastructure Projects Ltd has been declared L-1 (lowest bidder) by the NHAI for four laning of Tumkur – Shivamogga section from Banwara to Bettadahalli of NH-206 on Hybrid Annuity Mode under NHDP Phase – IV in the state of Karnataka. The bid project cost is Rs1,008cr while the bid price is at a discount of around 7% to Rs933.82cr. The discount in bid price could be an indication of aggressive bidding, led by an increase in competition. The construction period is 730 days and the operation period is 15 years. The length of the project is 48.52km.

Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Ltd’s portfolio consisted of total 18 projects, which includes 10 Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) projects and 7 Hybrid Annuity Mode, as of Q3FY18. SIPL has witnessed a traffic growth of around 11.7% yoy in Q3FY18 (Q3FY17 was affected by demonetization) on its highway projects. We believe, as the economy recovers, the road traffic should register 10% CAGR over FY18-20E.

Sadbhav Infrastructure Projects is currently trading at Rs132.90 up by Rs0.9 or 0.68% from its previous closing of Rs132 on the BSE.
