Pennar Wins Rs 252-Cr Worth of Orders

Specialized, engineering steel solutions provider Pennar Industries Ltd on Thursday announced major receipt of orders worth Rs 252 crore across its business units.

According to a company statement, the systems and projects unit of the company received an order for coaches from Integral Coach Factory and Modern Coach Factory. It has also received orders for module mounting structures from Tata Power, L&T, Sterling & Wilson, and Sri Chakra Cement among others.

One export order for CDW tube has been received from USA and European clients in the tubes unit and the industrial components unit received repeat orders for hydraulics from Bailey and BEML, the statement said.

Orders received under the steel products unit from Tata Projects, L&T, Elecon, SNC, Megha Engineering, NTPC, Shapoorji & Pallonji are for supply of building components. The unit has also secured an order for collecting electrodes from GE Power along with orders for automobile products from VECV and Prabha Auto. Further, the unit has got orders for sheet piles from RR Constructions, Balaji Impex and others.

Meanwhile, the company’s subsidiary Pennar Engineered Building Systems bagged orders for factory building from JSW Cement, CFCL and Welspun India. An order for automotive plant has also been received from KIA Motors along with an order for multi storey building from Phoenix.

Pennar Enviro Ltd, another arm of the company, received an engineering and procurement order from Avasarala Technologies. It has also won an order for supply of clarifiers from Dossan Hydro.
