Pennar Industries Bags Rs 152 Cr New Orders

According to the company, its railways business has received repeat orders for stainless steel sidewall and roof assemblies from Integral Coach Factory and Modern Coach Factory along with another order for coach components from BEML Ltd.

Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd, a subsidiary of the company, has bagged an order for rail engine manufacturing unit from URC Constructions. It has also received orders from Renaissance & KMV Projects for warehouses.

The steel products unit of the company has been awarded orders for special grade steel by JMT, PKC, Luk, Wahi sons, Primex, DVB, IFB and LGB. It has also won orders for building components from L&T, Megha Engineering, Tata, Elecon along with orders for ESP from GE Power, Thermax, FL Smidth. Further orders for solar module structures were also placed by Cleanmax, Renew Solar and Sterling & Wilson.

Meanwhile, the company’s industrial components unit has bagged an order for joist hydraulic from Bailey along with another order for hydraulic cylinders from TAFE.

The tubes business of the company has won repeat export orders for CDW tubes from various customers in USA, Europe and South Africa.

Shares of the company closed trading at Rs 61.95, up 1.47% from the previous closing of Rs 61.05, on BSE today.
