Om Metals Infraprojects, a leading producer of hydro mechanical equipments, has bagged ₹157 crore order from an hydroelectric project in Nepal. The company has received letter of acceptance from SJVN Arun-3 Power Development Company for all hydro-mechanical works including Pressure Shaft Steel liner of Arun-3 Hydroelectric Project of 900 MW in Nepal, said the company in a statement. Vikas Kothari, Director, said in the last two months the company has received orders which is equivalent to the entire order book of last year.

The company has diversified business interests including engineering construction of Hydro mechanical components in dams, canals and barrages. It also undertakes other infrastructure projects including civil structures, road projects, irrigation, water storage and pipe line laying and smart city projects. Its core business is providing turnkey EPC solutions for Engineering and construction of dams, hydropower and irrigation projects in India and Abroad, said the company.
