Shares of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) gained 2 percent intraday Thursday.



The company has bagged an order worth Rs 294.8 crore. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has awarded the work of construction of academic building, guest house, gymnasium, hospital and auditorium at IIT, Mandi campus.



"The company had secured total business amounting Rs 8523 crore in the month of December 2015 including project management consultancy work worth Rs 8195 crore and EPC work of Rs 328 crore," as per BSE filing. At 09:35 hrs National Buildings Construction Corporation was quoting at Rs 1,015.05, up Rs 7.95, or 0.79 percent on the BSE.
