MBL Infrastructures gains 2%, bags two highway projects

New Delhi-based construction company MBL Infrastructures has received two highway projects worth Rs 609.1 crore on Tuesday. The stock has rallied more than 2 percent intraday.



First order worth Rs 583.50 crore is bagged by a consortium led by the company itself. "First order is for rehabilitation and upgradation of Goharganj to Bhopal section of NH-12, including construction of Obedullaganj bypass in Madhya Pradesh, to four-lanes with payed shoulders under NHDP-III," says the company. Another order worth Rs 25.62 crore is for maintenance of Guwahati bypass on NH-37 from National Highway Authority of India in Assam, it adds.



Execution period of this project is 12 months. At 10:23 hours IST, the scrip of MBL Infrastructures was quoting at Rs 226.70, up Rs 3.80, or 1.70 percent on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
