L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Ltd (LTHE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro Ltd, has bagged orders worth a total of Rs 1,700 crore in its construction services business vertical.

“The business has secured three new orders, with a combined value of Rs 1,200 crore, for pipelines and associated works in the western region of India, and also received an order for additional work, worth Rs 500 crore, from an existing contract”, said the company in its filing with stock exchanges on Friday.

Based in Mumbai, LTHE serves the oil and gas sector around the world. Organized under offshore, onshore, construction services, modular fabrication and engineering services verticals, the company delivers ‘design to build’ engineering and construction solutions across the hydrocarbon spectrum.

L&T shares were trading in red at Rs 1,434.70, down 0.75% from the previous closing price of Rs 1,445.50, on BSE at 11.49 am Friday.
