Mumbai-based Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd has won a new order worth Rs 120 crore in Andhra Pradesh.

“The company has secured work order of Rs 119.73 crore from Public Health & Municipal Engineering Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh – Ongole Municipal Corporation, for providing water supply improvements scheme under AMRUT project,” the company said on Friday. According to the company, the project is to be completed within 15 months.

Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd, established in 1926, manufactures and markets hume pipes and other allied products such as pre-stressed concrete pipes (non-cylinder), pre-stressed concrete cylinder pipes, bar wrapped steel cylinder pipes, hume steel pipes, welded steel penstocks and pre-stressed concrete railway sleepers.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 462.50, up 1.02% from the previous closing of Rs 457.85, on BSE at 3 pm today.
