Infrastructure major Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) said its joint venture (JV) with Vensar Constructions Company Ltd (VCCL) has been awarded Rs 1,114 crore contract.
The contract is to construct the Imphal-Kangchup-Tamenglong highway, which is a part of Asian Highway No 1. The contract has been awarded by the Public Works Department (PWD) of Government of Manipur.
The project is to be completed in 42 months, it said in a statement. The project is backed by Asian Development Bank and this part of the highway starts at Imphal and ends at Tamenglong covering a total length of 111 kms, HCC said.
