Feedback Infrastructure Bags NHAI’s DPR Contract

Infrastructure service provider Feedback Infra has bagged a contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to prepare a detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Nagpur to Hyderabad to Bengaluru expressway. The 11,00km long expressway will pass through four states including Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and the cost is estimated at Rs35,000 crore.

As per the contract, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has asked Feedback to establish the technical, economic and financial viability and prepare a DPR of the project including details of rehabilitation and upgrading of the existing road configuration, if required , making the assignment, the largest ever for the infrastructure company.

Feed Infra has earlier been associated with other expressway projects, either in an advisory or in a project management role, the most recent being the 302 km Agra to Lucknow Expressway and the 700 km Nagpur to Mumbai Super Expressway.

The chairman of Feedback, Vinayak Chatterjee said that they are delighted to have won this mandate. It shows that Indian engineering firms are able to go up the scale from designing highways to designing such long and technically complex expressways. They are confident that their team’s work will result in this much-needed corridor taking shape sooner rather than later.
