Duke Energy adds 50MW California solar capacity

The renewables unit of Duke Energy has acquired the two Seville projects totaling 50MW (ac) in California, increasing its California solar generation capacity to 116MW.



Duke Energy Renewables has acquired the 20MW (AC) Seville I and 30MW Seville II solar power projects in California from Kruger Energy. Kruger Energy will oversee the construction of the projects; both facilities are expected to be in service by year end.
