
Ashoka Buildcon hits 3-month high on recent order wins
Shares of Ashoka Buildcon extended gains for the third consecutive session and surged over 13% duirng the day to a three-month high of Rs263.20 after the company emerged as the lowest bidder for two road projects worth Rs450cr in Maharashtra by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
The likely order win along with other order inflows in March have improved the revenue visibility, which has lifted the sentiment for the company. So far in March, the company and its subsidiaries have emerged as the lowest bidder for at least five projects from the National Highways Authority of India worth over Rs5,500cr.
Ashoka Buildcon Ltd is currently trading at Rs247.30 up by Rs17.8 or 7.76% from its previous closing of Rs229.50 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs239.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs265 and Rs237.10 respectively. So far 20,34,354 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter.
