
Ahluwalia Contracts rises 4%; bags orders worth Rs 676.36cr
Construction company, Ahluwalia Contracts gained nearly 4 percent on the back of bagging orders worth Rs 676 crore.
The company has secured new orders aggregating to Rs 676.36 crore for construction of institutional/residential building, including electrical, plumbing, and firefighting services.
The total order inflow during the FY 2015-16 stands at Rs 676.36 crore and as on date company’s order book stands at Rs 4146 crore approximately. According to Shobhit Uppal, DMD, due to robust order inflow from government sector, the government order book proposition stands at 65 percent as on date against 32 percent as March 31, 2015. Earlier, in the month of March the company has bagged orders worth Rs 429.61 crore.
At 09:50 hrs Ahluwalia Contracts India was quoting at Rs 251.70, up Rs 4, or 1.61 percent on the BSE.
