Viruj Chematrix is planning to set up active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing unit at Pittampally in Nalgonda district of Telangana.

The proposed unit will have a capacity of 2,500 tpa and will spread over 5.12 acre of land parcel.

Work on the project is expected to commence by November 2022. Contractor and machinery supplier has been finalized.

The project is expected to be completed by October 2024.
