South Western Railway has invited bids for construction of new broad gauge line track between Marikuppam & Dravidian University.

The scope of work includes construction of new broad gauge line track between Marikuppam (incl) and Dravidian University (5.72 km) under Marikuppam-Kuppam new line project (23.7 km) including telecommunication & electrical works.

The estimated value of the work is Rs 131.54 crore with completion period of 15 months.
