Shiur Sakhar Karkhana is setting up a sugar unit with a capacity of 2,500 tccpd at Wakodi in Hingoli district of Maharashtra.

The project will also include ethanol unit with a capacity 30 klpd and 12 MW bagasse-based co-generation power unit.

In December 2021, work on the sugar unit was completed. Around 40 percent work on the ethanol unit bagasse-based co-generation power unit has been completed.

The project is expected to be completed by July 2023.
