Rosvar Iron & Power is planning to set up sponge iron (DRI Unit) manufacturing unit at Haruvanahalli in Ballari district of Karnataka.

The unit will have a capacity of 195 tpd. The project also comprises manufacturing of mild steel billets capacity of 99,000 tpa and waste heat recovery boiler power plant.

Rosvar Iron & Power is awaiting environment clearance for the project.

Contractor and machinery supplier are to be yet to finalised for the project.
