Nissan Bharat Rasayan is setting up agrochemicals, pesticides, insecticide intermediate unit with a capacity of 36,300 tpa at Sayakha in Bharuch district of Gujarat.

The project will spread over 86,019 sq mtr of land parcel, will also include formulation product unit with a capacity of 12,000 tpa.

In January 2020, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) accorded environmental clearance for the project. Work on the project commenced in November 2020.

Civil work on the project has been completed.

Machinery installation work is underway with completion re-scheduled for October 2022.
