NHAI has invited two separate bids for construction of four-lane highway in Uttar Pradesh

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited two separate bids for construction of four-lane highway in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The scope of work includes construction of four lane highway from Gazipur-Ballia- Uttar Pradesh/Bihar State Border (greenfield) section of NH-31: Package-I [from Hridaipur (0.000 km) to Shahapur (42.500 km)] on EPC mode. The estimated value of the project is Rs 845.28 crore.

Another tender involves construction of four-lane highway from Gazipur-Ballia- Uttar Pradesh/Bihar State Border (greenfield) section of NH-31: Package-II [from Shahapur (42.500 km) to Pindari (78.150 km)] on EPC mode. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 845.28 crore.

The completion period of both the projects is 24 months.
