Government of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for upgradation of Shirapur Junction to Shivaji Chowk.

The scope of work includes rehabilitation & upgradation of Shirapur Junction to Shivaji Chowk (design ch 130.00 km to 144.500 km) of NH-561 & Barshi Naka to Jarud Phata (design ch 49.500 km to 59.500 km) section of NH-361F to two lanes with paved shoulders/ four lanes configuration on EPC mode in the state of Maharashtra.

The estimated value of the project is Rs 212.61 crore with completion period of 18 months.
