Lakshmi Pharmachem intends to set up active pharmaceutical ingredients (bulk drugs and intermediates) manufacturing unit at Loya village in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.

The unit will have a capacity of 165 tpm. In August 2022, Lakshmi Pharmachem received environment clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Andhra Pradesh.

Lakshmi Pharmachem is awaiting other clearances for the project.

Work on the project is expected to commence by March 2023.
