Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals is planning to set up active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing unit in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh.

The project will spread over 50 acre of land parcel. Land has been acquired for the project.

Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals is awaiting necessary clearances for the project. Work on the project is expected to commence by January 2023.
