The detailed project report (DPR) for Visakhapatnam-Bhogapuram Beach Corridor is being prepared.

The Andhra Pradesh government had proposed to develop the existing beach road connecting Vizag Port Container Terminal to NH-16 at Bhogapuram via Rishikonda and Bheemili to six-lane standards.

On 24 December 2020 the Road Ministry had directed NHAI to initiate the preparation of the DPR.
