Biocon Biologics India is planning to expand bio pharmaceutical unit capacity at Hebbagodi, in Bengaluru district of Karnataka.

The capacity of the unit will be raised from 1455.84 tpa to 1827.59 tpa.

Biocon Biologics India has received environment clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Karnataka.

Biocon Biologics India is awaiting other regulatory approvals for the project.

Work on the project is expected to commence by June 2023.
