Bharat Spirits intends to set up ethanol manufacturing unit in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.

The unit will have a capacity of 200 klpd. The project also comprises 4.5 MW co-generation power plant.

Bharat Spirits is awaiting environment clearance for the project.

Work on the project is expected to commence by December 2022.
