Ankur Biochem is planning to set up a grain-based distillery to produce ethanol for blending with petroleum under EBP Programme at Chakai in Jamui district of Bihar.

The unit will have a capacity of 750 klpd. The project will also see installation of 20 MW co-generation power plant.

Ankur Biochem is awaiting environment clearance for the project.
