Agni Steels is planning to set up mild steel billets (MS Billets) manufacturing unit with a capacity of 30,000 tonnes per month at SIPCOT Industrial Growth Centre, Perundurai in Erode district of Tamil Nadu.

The project will also manufacture steel rods, angles, squares, flats, channels and rounds with capacity of of 37,340 tonnes per month.

The project will spread over 22.36 acres of land parcel.

Work on the project is expected to commence after receiving environment clearance and necessary approvals.

The project is scheduled to be completed within two years after commencement of work.
